Hi, I’m Luz.đź‘‹
Let’s build your
pitch together.
Developing a solutions journalism pitch can feel overwhelming. I’m here to slow down with you, ask the right questions, and help you tell a story that matters—one grounded in real problems and real responses.

How Luz can help you write your pitch?
You have a story idea. You know there’s a problem worth investigating, and you think you’ve found a response that’s making a difference. But you’re not sure if you have all the pieces, or how to frame it for an editor or funder.
That’s where I come in. Over the next 20-45 minutes, I’m going to ask you questions—thoughtful ones that help you think through your idea from every angle. I’ll help you turn your raw concept into a compelling, well-researched pitch grounded in the four pillars of solutions journalism.
