How Luz can help you write your pitch?

You have a story idea. You know there’s a problem worth investigating, and you think you’ve found a response that’s making a difference. But you’re not sure if you have all the pieces, or how to frame it for an editor or funder.

That’s where I come in. Over the next 20-45 minutes, I’m going to ask you questions—thoughtful ones that help you think through your idea from every angle. I’ll help you turn your raw concept into a compelling, well-researched pitch grounded in the four pillars of solutions journalism.

  • How it works, who implements it, and what evidence shows its impact
2

and work with you

I help you by…

  • Asking clarifying questions to strengthen each part of your pitch
  • Providing constructive feedback on your story concept
  • Helping you identify gaps in your research
